Blindness (Blindness #1)

Review From User :

Re-read November, 2015: I love this book! I enjoyed re-reading it again after 2 years.

NR Walker has done it again! I have fallen in love with every book she has ever written, and this book was no exception.

I absolutely loved Blind Faith and found it to be one of the sweetest M/M romances I have ever read. Dr. Carter Reese, dedicated Veterinarian and all around great guy, was a dream MC hero for Isaac Brannigan, who was dealing with a series of trust issues for humans and canines alike. Dog lovers, like myself, will especially love this romance.

If you love old fashion "courting" in contemporary romance, honest everyday issues that real people struggle with, are a "dog person", M/M romance with passion instead of porn in the sex scenes (is it hot in here) and want to be swept away by a sweet story for an afternoon with minimal angst and lots of character development, I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND Blind Faith.

On my favorites shelf!

From Nobel Prize-winning author Jose Saramago, a magnificent, mesmerizing parable of loss

A city is hit by an epidemic of “white blindness” that spares no one. Authorities confine the blind to an empty mental hospital, but there the criminal element holds everyone captive, stealing food rations and assaulting women. There is one eyewitness to this nightmare who guides her charges – among them a boy with no mother, a girl with dark glasses, a dog of tears – through the barren streets, and their procession becomes as uncanny as the surroundings are harrowing. As Blindness reclaims the age-old story of a plague, it evokes the vivid and trembling horrors of the twentieth century, leaving readers with a powerful vision of the human spirit that’s bound both by weakness and exhilarating strength.
