Review From User :
I'm showing my age when I say read this book years ago and it was an earlier edition.
I remember distinctly my teacher, cane behind his back to ensure a quiet classroom, opening his desk drawer and taking out the first book in this series. Not sure why he thought he needed a cane because when he started reading to the class you could have heard a pin drop.
Thus began my love of reading and I went straight to the library to borrow the book. It was way to long to wait another week for the next installment of the famous five. I even still have my Enid Blyton club badge that is one of my favourite keepsakes.
There was no one in my opinion could write a children's story quite like Enid Blyton and my children and grandchildren have loved theses stories too. One of the best classic children's series at the time and still loved today.
